The goal of restorations is to replace missing teeth lost by decay or injury, protect the part of the tooth that remains, and restore the tooth's shape and function.
When a restoration is placed in the mouth, Dr. Ona removes all traces of decay, cleans the tooth and prepares the remaining tooth structure for the restoration. A well-made restoration should feel comfortable and last a relatively long time with proper care. In addition, lost or missing teeth need to be replaced in order to protect the shape and function of the mouth as a whole.
